Tornado Surveys, Snow Sunk Boats
Several storm surveys have been performed in the State of Pennsylvania, where dozens of wind reports were received on Friday. Three which found tornadoes are shown below. If additional reports come in on Sunday, this entry will be adjusted.As noted, these reports may indicate the first tornados EVER in December for the state. The Tornado Project online lists no December tornadoes in Pennsylvnia between 1950 and 1995.

#1: F2 Tornado in Luzerne County, PA: 150 Yards Wide, 15 Miles Long
EXERPTS: OVER 100 HOMES SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE. A ROOF WAS COMPLETELY TORN OFF OF A
WELL-CONSTRUCTED HOME AND THROWN 150 FEET INTO A NEIGHBORING YARD. AT MR. Z'S SUPERMARKET, A 9000 POUND AIR-CONDITIONING UNIT WAS LIFTED FROM ITS BASE AND TIPPED. AT THE SAME LOCATION, A 2500 POUND AIR-CONDITIONER WAS BLOWN OFF THE ROOF AND LANDED APPROXIMATELY 20 FEET FROM ITS INITIAL LOCATION.
#2: F1 Tornado in Daupin County, PA: 75 Yards Wide, 1.5 Miles Long
EXERPTS: ONE FATALITY OCCURRED AT THE INTERSECTION OF ROUTES 225 AND 147 WHEN A TREE FELL ON A CAR AT THE INTERSECTION... 25 TO 30 RESIDENCES WITH MINOR DAMAGE. THOUSANDS OF TREES WERE ALSO FELLED DUE TO THE STRONG WINDS... AND THE EMBEDDED TORNADO.
