Mayor Jim Byard says the tornado struck the Overlook area in the city and a search began for any storm victims who may be trapped in the wreckage. Escambia County authorities and American Red Cross volunteers are in the area, assessing the damage and lending a helping hand to those who need it. The Escambia County Sheriff's Office closed parts of 95A, Molino Road & Cedar Town Road due to storm damage. The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office is also reporting storm damage. There are no reports of any injuries.
