Tornado Hits Florida School
In Baker, Florida, 10 to 15 students (NWS report) were injured when their school was damaged by a tornado. USAToday has more information.
The radar at Eglin Air Force Base, a few miles to the west, was down at the time of the tornado. Above is a shot from the nearby Fort Rucker, Alabama radar as the tornado approached the school. The lat/lon given for the National Weather Service report is shown with an "X". Note the classic "hook echo" appendage protruding from the southwest edge of the storm.
