Three Tornadoes Confirmed in Pennsylvania
After the word went out that the state was to face one of its worst severe weather outbreaks this year Wednesday night, the NWS had confirmed three tornadoes in Pennsylvania by Friday:
This brings the state up to 6 tornadoes total this year, compared to a (full-year) average of 11.7 for the last 10 years.
The most impressive damage came from the EF-1 tornado in Tilden Township in Berks County, where a school was destroyed.

None of the three confirmed tornadoes were within a Tornado Warning (see below). By the looks of the photos and video, they were very small tornadoes, which could not necessarily be detected by radar.
