The AccuWeather.com Quick iPhone App
ONE YEAR AGO TODAY: MOUNT REDOUBT ERUPTS... ON RADAR!
If you have an iPhone (I don't, though I did review one once upon a time) or iPod Touch (even my daughter has one of these, now I really I feel left out!) you may enjoy the "AccuWeather.com Quick" application. Its price recently fell to 99 cents (we have a free application as well, but it has advertisements and some people wanted an alternative). Here are some screenshots:
It's a very simple application with a low footprint but an attractive interface, built to give you the weather you need quickly. One of the coolest things about it is the use of the accelerometer built into the iPhone -- you just shake it forward to change locations! Turn it to the side, it displays the radar! Cool stuff. Just search for "AccuWeather" in the App Store.
P.S.: We also have similar applications on the Motorola Droid and you can read more about our Blackberry Web Signals service, and services for all other cell phones here. When in doubt, simply visit AccuWeather.com on your phone to access us.
