UPDATE 11/28: Here is a map of final snowfall amounts (ignore the holes). Over 300,000 lost power with this storm, and over 150,000 were still without power on Black Friday!

Petersburg & Paw Paw, WV: 20.0" Madison, NH: 18.4" Orwell, VT: 16.5" Hawley, MA: 16.0" Hartford, ME: 15.2" Warrensburg, NY: 14.6" Sideling Hill Rest, PA: 14.5" Monterey, VA: 14.0" Montague, NJ: 12.5" Hartland, CT: 10.4" Hancock, MD: 9.0" Beech Mountain, NC: 6.0"

I got about 4-5" in State College and also at my Thanksgiving destination in York, Pennsylvania, and it was an interesting drive over the mountains.

ORIGINAL BLOG 11/26/2014: The Thanksgiving snowstorm has begun this Wednesday morning. Snow is falling over the Appalachians this morning; in fact there have already been reports of 4" in North Carolina and 8" in West Virginia and a Mesoscale discussion for one inch per hour snowfall is out! I'm off work today so I watch the reports link above, the AccuWeather.com live blog, the AccuCams, and my social accounts for additional information.
