Temps Fall Quickly Across Northeast
The cold air is plowing into the Northeast this morning. At 10 a.m., temperatures were near 60 in southern Pennsylvania, but in the teens over Lake Erie (see map below from our Pro Site).
Here at AccuWeather HQ in State College, PA, the temperature has plummeted from the mid 50's at 7:45 a.m. to the mid 30's at 10 a.m. The wind has gusted to 47 mph at the weather station on our roof.
Wind advisories are in effect all over the Northeast. In Rochester, NY, the wind has gusted to 66 mph this morning.
