Superstorm 2005 In Progress
Hurricane Wilma Winds/Radar 10/24/05
AccuWeather RadarPlus
I just left our on-floor forecast discussion with our top meteorologists and I can tell you that the Superstorm of 2005 is beginning. As predicted Saturday, the moisture from Wilma is combining with the storm system in the East. You can see the moisture areas combining already at left. We should see flooding rains again on the Northeast coast (sorry guys!), along with high winds gusting to 70 mph. Further inland, up to a foot of snow could fall through the spine of the Appalachians.
