Watch "J's Breaking Weather News" at right for storm updates from me and other AccuWeather.com folks throughout the weekend.

UPDATE: I-81 is a mess, cars and jackknifed trucks stuck in the snow. Check out the pics I just pulled from VA 511 between Christianburg and Roanoke:

The snow amounts are staggering this Saturday morning and the storm is still cranking. Many are without power, some Interstates are shut down, and per AccuWeather.com MapSpace™ (PREMIUM | PRO) the entire area is covered by government advisories, running the gamut from Blizzard Warnings for New York City to High Surf Advisories on the Carolina coast.
