Sorry, Boston: More Flooding on the Way
Sorry, Boston.
After a record-breaking storm that spread more than 6 inches of rain over Massachusetts and Rhode Island Wednesday, another coastal storm is heading in their direction. With already saturated ground, flooding is a big concern for MA, RI, CT, and also the coast of Maine.
As of 6 a.m. Eastern, a radar/satellite shot showed rain off the coast of Virginia, moving northeast.
This is our current forecast of precipitation. Hopefully, areas that were inundated mid-week will miss the heaviest rain this time.
