Blog reader Randall writes "I really think that the South Lafourche reporting station was reporting incorrectly. On our Gulf Coast weather discussion board, we have many members that reside in southern Lafourche Parish. No one reported any snow; however, there was some sleet at the onset of the precipitation yesterday morning."
ORIGINAL ENTRY: A pretty big snowstorm is moving through the Deep South, and I mean DEEP South -- sleet and snow have been reported to the Gulf of Mexico and in the Florida Panhandle. See AccuWeather.com for our latest forecast maps and the specifics for your zipcode. If you have photos, please upload them to AccuWeather.com on Facebook!
