Some snow fell Tuesday and Wednesday night in the Appalachians, from southwest North Carolina through Maine. A quick map is shown on my blog; click here to get the details on amounts from NOHRSC.

We even had some flakes fall just outside of State College, Pennsylvania, home of AccuWeather HQ [Google Map], early Wednesday morning. I posted some webcams of the Wednesday morning North Carolina snowfall on the Forums. The following official NWS reporting stations reported snowfall Tuesday and Wednesday night: BVI, JST, UCP, SLK, SYR, BKW (lookup station codes).
