Skinny on Northeast Snow Now, Then
A really quick update with a snow/ice/rain animation from the NMM Forecast Model [JessePedia], I apologize but I have to get to a long morning meeting.

Take a look at this morning's radar animation... you might think that this is going to swing southeast and there's your snow, but we're talking about a completely different storm system tomorrow... check out the video for more details.

It's amazing to think it was over 70 here in central PA on Wednesday and we may have several inches of snow on the ground Saturday! he only thing I'm concerned about is accumulation, based on the fact that we haven't been much below freezing in 5 or 6 days, and to make it worse, the ground is extremely saturated with melted snow and rain.Here's a graph of the temps in State College this week:
Of course, if it snows hard enough, that won't be a problem.
