Serious Summerlike Heat Invades U.S.
The first serious heat wave of the season will sweep across the United States this week and weekend.
By early next week, 80s and even 90s will reach parts of the Northeast. Here are a couple of temperature maps:
From our Pro site, the AccuWeather Model forecast for drive-time Friday shows 100s in Texas and 90s eastward into the Carolinas, but the government is predicting 90s as far north as the Dakotas (see their map).
