School in Buffalo? Maybe Next Week
Blog reader George points out today that Buffalo schools, and those surrounding the city, will remain closed until next Monday (WBEN930). The early-season snowstorm that struck the area last Friday simply brought down too many trees for the workers there to clean up.
The NWS in Buffalo has labeled the storm a "5-Star Plus" storm, saying:
