Salt Lake City Lake-Effect Snow Wednesday
If you saw this radar image (download radar loop) Wednesday morning you probably did a double-take and might have asked yourself: Is this Salt-Lake-effect snow?
The answer is: Yep, I've blogged about this before. Lake-effect snow can occur on any body of water of sufficient size, including The Great Salt Lake and even the Lake Champlain, Vermont. Also, believe it or not, Lake Pontchartrain, Chesapeake Bay, and even the Gulf of Mexico or Atlantic Ocean!
