We got some great tornado and hail photos from yesterday's severe thunderstorm in El Paso, Texas, from dopplerdave:

AccuWeather.com RadarPlus and Google Earth help me go in-depth with a video below, explaining where the tornadoes were, what the radar said, and what you'll see in the photos above.

The video blog above is important because...

A.) It's way too long and will probably get me in trouble. :)
B.) It explains some confusion on where the tornadoes were, and when.
C.) It explains (kind of) why the radar may have missed the twisters.
D.) It introduces Google Earth to illustrate all this. I'll be using Google Earth more in future video blogs because it's a great tool to get a handle on 3-D topography and geoography.
