Record Blizzard Snow Totals, Photos

The Blizzard of 2006 (CNN article) became the worst ever for New York City and for the Hartford, Connecticut area yesterday when Central Park and Windsor Locks Airports recorded the highest ever one-day snowfall totals (26.9" and 21.9" respectively).

Records for February 12th snowfalls were also set in many other cities such as Philadelphia and Allentown, PA, Bridgeport, CT, Newark, NJ, and Worchester and Boston, MA. The highest total reported was 30.2 inches at Fairfield, CT.
