Rare Hail, Tornadoes Hit Hawaii DUPE
According to this article at the Star Bulletin, a rare tornado caused $50,000 in damage at the Kaumalapau Harbor in southwestern Lanai Thursday night. You can see the National Weather Service's official report here.
Then Saturday afternoon, another tornado (or possibly two) hit Maui! The Maui News even got a photo. The NWS called that one a waterspout in their initial report.

In addition, hail covered the ground in South Kona, Hawaii, during the morning on Friday.

The bizarre weather comes on the heels of months of flooding on the islands. Heavy rain continues today, and stations have reported up to 5.72" of rain in the past 24 hours.
