The AccuWeather.com Photo Gallery was elected Cool Site of the Day for September 20th, getting a "coolness" rating of 6.5 (compared to an average this month of 5.4).

Normally I wouldn't take the time to publish one of a million web awards, most of which aren't worth a hoot, but CSOTD is decent. They have been in business since the early, early days of the Internet. You can read more about them in this article.

I also appreciated their nomination for the next day, BrilliantButCancelled.com, a site where you can bet on when new TV shows will be cancelled. The site design was a bit hard to navigate, but the premise was, well, brilliant.
