Powerful Hurricane Norbert Bound for Baja
Impressive Hurricane Norbert (a Category 3 now, though several models suggest he could get to Category 4 strength) appears bound for the Baja Peninsula. He is looking pretty impressive on satellite this afternoon:
A few models suggest that he could hit as a Category 3, and one even says Cat 4. Our forecast right now says he will be down to a Cat 1 when he passes over the peninsula, but we're not clear on landfall. The NHC is predicting a weak Category 2 at landfall, according to our GOOGLE TRACKER (PREMIUM | PRO).
