Possible Mid-Atlantic Coast Snow Thursday
The NMM model has been hinting at a coastal storm touching parts of the Mid-Atlantic Thursday. If this happens, significant snow could fall in a limited area. Here's what this morning's 12Z run vs. this afternoon's 18Z run showed for snowcover - note that it has moved the heavier snow from Maryland into Delaware (remember any snow cover in the Appalachians was already there). Meteo Madness Man (PREMIUM | PRO) says in his blog "I have seen this happen before. An arctic low comes innocently southeast and once it hits the coast, it explodes into a storm, and suddenly, you are faced with a snowstorm. "
