Photos: Over 100 Tornadoes Strike Plains
Over 100 tornadoes were reported Friday and Saturday in the Plains, in the biggest tornado outbreak so far this season. Looking at recent major outbreaks, yesterday's 93 may be more tornadoes in one day than any day in the last year. Yesterday's tornado reports spanned 7 states and a high school was damaged in Sweetwater, Oklahoma (CNN). Softball-sized hail and 90-mph winds were also reported. Incredibly, much of this same area is under it's third day of a Moderate Risk today! Here's how the outbreak has looked so far:

Here are some incredible photos from this weekend's outbreak:
A school lies in rubble in Greensburg, Kan., Saturday, May 5, 2007. Most of this southwest Kansas town was destroyed by a tornado, part of a violent storm system blamed for at least nine deaths, officials said Saturday amid warnings of more severe weather. The tornado that struck Greensburg late Friday damaged about 95 percent of the town about 110 miles west of Wichita and 50 miles north of the Oklahoma state line, City Administrator Steve Hewitt said Saturday.
