Photo: Eyeball of the Storm
We had several small thunderstorms pass over State College, PA, home of AccuWeather HQ on Friday. I actually got some decent photos while I was out by my house, including this photo and a time-lapse video showing an eyeball-like cloud formation:
Kind of scary, eh? The radar at the time looked like this... a weakening line of storms approaching me:
I'm surprised I actually got any decent pictures at all. Besides "the eye of the storm" I also got this nice vertical shot of swirling clouds, which I've added to my "Best Of" set, recently updated with my favorite photos among the thousands of pics I've snapped over the years:
