People Missing In Catskills Flooding
UPDATE: The NWS has released their gauge-adjusted Doppler estimated precipitation map which indicates that over 10 inches of rain fell in the flooding area in the last 24 hours. Often radar estimates are too high, but neither the Binghamton nor the Albany NEXRAD radar estimated that over 7 inches fell.

Forbes.com says: "Severe thunderstorms caused flash flooding in the southern Catskill Mountains, washing out roads. Up to four people were reported missing Wednesday. Six to eight inches of rain fell in just two hours late Tuesday as the storms rolled across the region." One city quoted in the article is Roscoe, New York [Google Map].
Above is a zoom of the Doppler-Estimated Precip map from AccuWeather.com RadarPlus, showing between 6 and 7 inches of rain in the area. The NWS NWS Gauge-Adjusted Doppler-Precip Map is not yet complete for that area but will be posted here when it is.
