Here are some Associated Press* photos from some of the recent tornado damage. Videos will be available later today. Meanwhile check out the videos from KOAM TV in Pittsburg, Kansas showing damage and search & rescue operations.
The remains of a mobile home in Seneca, Mo, was typical of the damage caused by a tornado on Saturday, May 10, 2008. Early reports have nine dead and one missing from the tornado that cut a path one mile wide and six miles long in southwest Missouri. A tornado that spun across the Oklahoma-Missouri border killed several people as severe storms raked the nation's heart Saturday, taking at least 11 lives, mangling buildings and trapping people in rubble in the storm-weary region.
