Over 2 Feet of Snow in the West!

It may be mid-April but it's not unusual for the mountains in the West to still see significant snow this time of year, and that's what's happening yesterday -- and will continue through Saturday on I-25 affecting Denver. For more on the forecast, see our Headlines at right. Here are some selected spotter amounts reported during the past 48 hours, as of 6 PM Mountain Time Friday:

Pinecliffe, CO: 34.5" Larimer County, CO: 27.0" Eureka, NV: 26.0" Genessee, CO: 25.6" Blackhawk, CO: 25.0" Evergreen, CO: 25.0" Spring Creek, NV: 23.0" Lamoille, NV: 21.0" Boulder, CO: 20.0" Teton County, WY: 17.0"
