Oregon: 92 mph Winds, 26-Foot Waves
Cape Blanco, Oregon gusted to 92 mph as a new storm system raked the Pacific Northwest overnight. Strong winds, heavy rain and snow will continue to affect the area today. 26-foot waves were reported off the coast.
Both Tacoma and Olympia, Washington had 35 straight days of rainfall before their streak ended Sunday, according to KOMO-TV. (Ironically, further south, Phoenix breaks their record dry spell at 102 days).
