Ophelia is moving westward this morning and current tracks take her into southeastern North Carolina. The image below, captured from AccuWeather.com RadarPlus this morning, shows Ophelia's strong winds in the eastern and northern eyewall, with some heavy showers in the northern quadrant. Sustained winds on shore are not impressive, but Buoy 41002 reported a 78 mph gust yesterday.
