On Radar, Satellite: Future Tropical Storm?
A tropical rain system in the Caribbean is moving off the Yucatan towards Cuba this morning. This may be the system that the models have been predicting could turn into a Tropical Storm late in the week off the Southeast U.S. coast. A model update will be available shortly, after the morning run of the GFS is out.
You can see it on the AccuWeather.com Caribbean Satellite:

And also on the Mexican Radar* out of Cancun:
There is no center of low pressure yet. No rotation can be discerned yet on the visible satellite, and the NHC has not yet issued any Special Tropical Disturbance Statements as of Noon Wednesday. Whether this is the precursor to a Tropical Storm or not, AccuWeather.com Professional's Joe Bastardi [BIO] (PRO) said this morning "At least a big rain and wind maker to develop in Gulf and head northeast along the Southeast coast in Friday-Monday period."
