VIDEO SCRIPT: "A tornado continues to be on the ground in Osage County. Steve Moles reported the tornado had been on the ground for several minutes at 8:30 p.m. The storm was north of Skedee and was moving to the northeast slowly. Moles later reported two tornadoes on the ground at one time with the storm. Just before nine o'clock, the storm was located 15 miles southwest of Pawhuska moving northeast at 30 miles per hour. It's just one of several tornado touchdowns reported with storms in north central Oklahoma this evening. The first touchdown came at about 7:30 near Jones in Oklahoma County. The touchdown was reported near 36th and Penny Road. There was a report of a roof being torn from a building and sheet metal wrapped around a fence post near Choctaw at 7:34 p.m. There have been no reports of injuries from the storm. Another touchdown was reported by NewsChannel 8 storm chasers in Pawnee County and a third was reported at 8:20 p.m., also by spotters in Pawnee County."
Also check out this photo slide show from Photo Gallery user wildabouthorses, AKA Janet Brown of Claremore, Oklahoma who says about the storms: "I noticed the clouds were kind of strange looking so started taking photos. We were put under a tornado watch within minutes."
Still this morning, severe thunderstorm and tornado watches and warnings are in effect.
Keep an eye on my blog today to watch the severe weather reports add up...
