O.T.: Yard Sale Leaves Local Man Tired

The two-day yard sale I mentioned before is now complete. It was a grueling 48 hours (we actually started setting up Wednesday evening and finished setting up Thursday starting at 4:30 a.m.).

The sale took place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and today. We sold hundreds of items, pulling in our largest dollar amount ever, before passing the rest of our junk on to a fellow yard-saler to sell in the future. The important thing is that we got rid of a mass of things that we no longer use, and can now live in our new house clutter-free.

I'm used to neither being outside (hello, allergies) nor physical labor (hello, no computer). The weather cooperated fairly well, though there were a few spoiling showers and occasional high winds. Our preemptive purchase of a 15x8' canopy was an excellent idea, as it kept most of our non-furniture items upright and dry.

Anyway, sorry for not blogging this weekend... I should be ready to get back to work tomorrow with no further interruptions to my schedule.
