O.T.: Men Survive Year Lost at Sea
Reuters reports this morning that three Mexican fisherman were rescued by a Taiwanese trawler after surviving nearly a year at sea. Can you imagine? I mean, lost on a desert island is one thing, but I would never make it that long on a boat.
The article says that their boat broke down and they were adrift for 11 months, meandering 5,000 miles in the Pacific Ocean. They survived on sea birds, rain water and fish.
