Nor'easter Provided Beautiful Pennsylvania Sunsets
All you need for a good sunset is high clouds to your west, but since weather changes rapidly, they are normally very hard to predict. I've got to give MeteoMadness Man credit -- Wednesday in our afternoon News Meeting, Henry said "be on the lookout for a nice sunset tonight" because we were on the wispy edge of the clouds from the nor'easter soaking the New England coast.
You can see the visible satellite below from mid-afternoon (via NOAA, also check out an animation) when the storm was off of Long Island, and it wasn't moving very much, guaranteeing that the western part of the state would still be under the edge of the cloud deck by evening.

I called local storm chaser Ron "R-Factor" Shawley and we drove to our respective local vistas to catch the sunset - and it was spectacular. Here are a few of my shots, I have more that I'll add this weekend. I thought this one with the sunset reflecting off my car's hood was neat.
As you can see by both the satellite and the photos, I was under the edge of the cloud deck while Ron was only under the high clouds, so he had a wider view.
