VIDEO FROM LAST NIGHT: Fairhaven, RI: Roof and tree damage from remnants of Noel. WPRI-WNAC-(CBS/FOX) Remnants of Hurricane Noel knocked out power to more than 43,000 people in and around Cape Cod Saturday (11/03). The coastline north of Massachusetts remains under a coastal flood and high wind warning. Cape Cod was expected to experience the worst of the storm and there were reports of dozens of trees toppled and homes damaged as wind gusts reached up to 70 miles per hour. The Coast Guard remains on alert with seas of up to 30 feet just east of the shore. The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency has been activated, crews and equipment are in place. The American Red Cross opened up shelters in Sandwich, Hyannis, Dennis and on Nantucket.
