Nigeria: Plane Crashes During Storm
A plane crashed in Nigeria today, killing around 100 people. This detailed article from Reuters says that the crash occurred during bad weather but an investigation is needed. This article also says that the plane crashed "during a storm." This is interesting because this would be the third crash in the last year in which at least 100 people perished. The previous two accidents were blamed on the weather (NY Times).
I was unable to find any weather stations in Abuja [WikiPedia], the capital city where the crash occurred. At least one news article said the crash occurred "in the morning" and a satellite image showed thunderstorms over the city at that time.
