New Edition of Extreme Weather Book!

I'm pleased to announce that the Second Edition of "Extreme Weather", a paperback book by fellow weather enthusiast Chris Burt, is now available on Amazon.com and through other retailers. I stand by what I said two years ago when the original edition came out:

I would add that Chris has published additional charts, tables and maps that you just can't find anywhere else in this latest edition. Of course, my blog is mentioned at the top of the Internet resources on the last pages (just below the book's website, which publishes a list of updated weather records each month and even more records than are in the book), so I could be biased. Just kidding, I really am not a big paper book fan but this one is on my shelf at both work and home and I frequently refer to it when meteorological extremes are challenged worldwide.
