New Alberto Flooding, Wind Reports
A swath of heavy rain from the center of the storm added up to more than 3 inches for much of the state of South Carolina, with over 10 inches offshore from Wilmington, NC.
The flooding rains are rapidly creeping into the Raleigh-Durham metro area of North Carolina this morning. Below is a shot from AccuWeather.com RadarPlus, showing storm-total Doppler-estimated precipitation out of the Raleigh radar. Flood warnings (blue) and watches (light blue) are shown on top of the radar image.

Wind gusts in Georgia and South Carolina have been almost as impressive as those seen in Florida:
