Nearly 90 But Snow Returns Late-Week
The warm (or hot) weather across the East is really impressive this afternoon. Check out this temperature map (from our Pro site), showing the 80s touching Pennsylvania and New Jersey:

Temperatures are in the mid-80s in Maryland and could approach 90 in a few locations. Believe it or not, we'll be talking about snow in the same areas in a few days. To quote from our Weather Headlines (PREMIUM | PRO):
A developing storm over the front range of the Rockies Wednesday will spread steady snow from Wyoming and northern Colorado toward the Midwest by late Wednesday night and early Thursday. This will not be a major storm as moisture is lacking, but 1-3 inches of snow could accumulate from Wyoming to northern Illinois. The highest amounts will be in the central Rocky Mountains with up to 6 inches by Wednesday afternoon.
The weak, fast-moving storm will track into the Middle Atlantic states Thursday night. The air north of the storm track will be marginally cold enough for a period of steady, wet snow later Thursday and into Friday morning. Some rain may mix in right near the coast. Right now, it looks like accumulations will be less than 3 inches under the main band of snow.
