Near 100 Degrees in Canada, Hot Elsewhere
Tuesday's going to be a hot day from the Gulf Coast to Quebec Canada. The forecast map below shows AccuWeather.com RealFeel temperatures over 100 in both locations and readings over 90 in almost every state east of the Plains! (RealFeel temperature combines temperature, humidity, wind, and solar radiation to tell you what it will actually feel like outside, despite what the thermometer says).
Canadian Blogger Brett Anderson has been warning of this heat for nearly a week. One of the cities specifically is Ottawa, Ontario where we're forecasting 92 degrees with a RealFeel of 100 tomorrow. That will handily break their record temperature of 88 -- in fact it's never been over 91 degrees there in Spring before June 7th according to our records! The map below shows where thermometer readings should be Tuesday afternoon.
The same will happen in Montreal with 91 vs. 86. Looking at the thermometer will yield 90s in Ontario & Quebec -- I noted 95 in Hearst, Ontario forecast and Jim Andrews said he saw 98 somewhere in our database.
