Mt. Wash, GFM Over 100 MPH, Waves

The winds from this latest storm system have caused Mount Washington [JessePedia] to gust to 144 mph (See Live Weather) and Grandfather Mountain [JessePedia] to gust to 111 mph (See Archive), before the sensor stopped transmitting this morning. Mount Washington was reporting freezing fog during the gust (yikes).
Many news articles on Google News are talking about downed trees and power outages in the Northeast. This article says "hundreds of thousands" have lost power in the Northeast, with 79,000 affected on Long Island.
Offshore, Buoy 44011 off the coast of Nova Scotia has reported 27-foot waves and winds gusting to 55 mph.

Here in Central Pennsylvania, the winds have not been that exciting but have nonetheless been high, the worst since last winter in some locations. I set a new record of 46 mph with my weather station (has only been up since May). Here's what I've found today:
PSU (Walker Building Downtown) - 55 mph*
WeatherMatrix1 (My Station, The Landings) - 46 mph
KPSU ASOS (Rock Springs) - 44 mph
KUNV (University Park Airport) - 43 mph
AccuWeather1 (Science Park Road) - 42 mph
*Anemometer is considerably above standard 10m height
