Mother Nature Frosts Flowers in Northeast
It may be the day after Mother's Day but Mother Nature is not happy, frosting flower buds across the Northeastern United States this morning. Last week the 15-Day forecast showed a chance of frost and record lows for this Monday morning, then yesterday Frost Advisories from AccuWeather.com Messenger. So last night I covered up the tender blooms on the plants in our front yard here in Central Pennslyvania. And I was glad I did. Here's a video blog showing where and why frost formed:

I could have edited the video title I guess, ha! Well, I'm not gonna redo it just for that. The coldest temperature I could find from MESOWEST (The Government Mesonet) was 25.8 at Adrian Rain Gauge, except for Mount Washington, NH [JessePedia], of course, which was 23.
