SCRIPT: "The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency says two people were killed and an unknown number of others injured in the wake of deadly tornadoes that struck Denmark, Tennessee Tuesday night (02-05). A scene of utter devastation unfolded Wednesday morning (02-06) as damage assessments were done by air and on the ground. Some local officials in the Madison County community said they had never witnessed such destruction. A spokesman for the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency says ten people were killed and scores of others injured when a series of storms passed through Macon County Tuesday night (02-05). Tornadoes and super-cell thunderstorms cut a swath of destruction in seven Tennessee counties from Shelby to Macon. The extent of the destruction is still being evaluated. As TEMA officials went into the field Wednesday (02-06) a spokesman said the death toll could rise as rescue personnel move into more rural areas. So far , TEMA has confirmed 24 fatalities statewide and more than 150 others injured by the storms."
