More Incredible Flood Maps, Videos
Today I am publishing maps showing the 3-Day rainfall (ending 7 AM Eastern today, March 20) in the flooding area. The 6 to 10-inch area (yellow to red) extends from eastern Oklahoma through southern Indiana, and indeed this is the area that has been hardest hit. Over a foot of rain fell near Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
The highest amounts per state over 8 inches are shown below:Cape Girardeau, Missouri: 12.52"Mountain Home, Arkansas: 12.10"Anna, Illinois: 11.79"Darmstady, Indiana: 8.79"
