More Central PA Rainbow Photos

I wanted to post a followup to my photos of Sunday's rainbow here in State College, PA, home of
AccuWeather HQ.

I was eagerly awaiting photos from Elliot Abrams (PREMIUM | PRO) who has a killer 10MP digital camera and wide-format photo printer. Today he walked over some samples to me, and I have posted his rainbow photos from Sunday to our Photo Gallery:

But it wasn't just myself and Elliot who were astounded by these unusually vivid rainbows. Even AccuWeather.com Professional's Long-Range Forecasting Expert Joe Bastardi (PRO) said in his blog Sunday night:

Ken Reeves followed up in yesterday's edition of the Point-CounterPoint streaming video (available exclusively on Premium and Pro): "We were talking yesterday about the great rainbows that we've had the last couple days -- one Friday, one Sunday, two of the most vivid rainbows I've seen around here in quite a while. It was tremendous color."
