Mon. Morning Webcam, Radar Dean Update
Hurricane Dean has left the Cuba radar scope and is heading towards Mexico's Cancun radar site. ABCNews reports that, in Jamaica, "the storm uprooted trees, flooded streets and tore the roofs off many homes, businesses and a prison block. No prisoners escaped." He is passing blessedly south of the Caymans but may become a Category 5 Storm today. Here are a couple of shots that I saved this morning from the Cayman Chillin Webcams:


And here's a satellite shot from this morning. As you can see, Dean is passing blessedly south of the Caymans. However, the Georgetown weather station has reported wind gusts to 50 knots (58 mph).

Nearly every computer model has Dean hitting Mexico, and not Texas, at this time. But he still has to take the Yucatan Challenge first, click here for more information on what effects that could have on Dean.
