Mom Gets White Christmas Again, No Snow Here

I blogged last year that my Mom down in Boomer, NC would be getting her fifth white Christmas since moving there (two of which I was there for).
This year, she's probably going to get her sixth according to our forecast... two in a row is very unusual for North Carolina. For the record, the years are 1981, 1989, 1993, 1998, 2009 and 2010 and I'm defining snow on the ground as what makes a White Christmas; only in 1981 (and probably 2010) did snow actually fall in the area on December 25.
Here in State College it will probably be an uneventful Christmas Day tomorrow, though some light snow could fall. For the record, here are the Christmas stats since I moved here (you can get links to specific blog entries from 2005-2009 on last year's summary blog).
