Minnesota Extreme Temperatures Tuesday
Minnesota got a surprise "instant summer" Tuesday when temperatures unexpectedly spiked well into the 90s. Meteorologist Paul Douglas said in his blog:
To make things even more astounding, the computer models (and therefore most meteorologists) were predicting a high in the 70's! Here's a look at temperatures at 4 PM; the map shows a range of 34 in the northeast tip of the state to 99 in the southwest, a difference of 65 degrees!
