AccuWeather.com is forecasting the mid-Atlantic's first significant snow storm of Fall 2005, but the weather weenies on our WeatherMatrix Forums have been talking about this storm for a week already. The storm will likely drop debilitating amounts of snow in some areas.

By the way, check out our new daily Winter Storm Tracking Map, shown below. I think this is pretty neat, and I believe (don't quote me on this) that it will be shown every day on our AccuWeather.com Winter Center for the rest of the season. Almost like a hurricane-tracking map, it shows each winter storm currently affecting the U.S. and Canada, then rates them on a scale of 1 to 5. Watch that little #1 over Tennessee today turn into a 3 or 4 tomorrow.
