Major Severe Outbreak Coming, Mod Day 2
The SPC has issued an extremely rare "Day 2 Moderate Risk" for parts of the Deep South Monday. This means that a large severe weather outbreak is likely early this week. This has been something Henry has been talking about since the middle of last week... in this morning's blog he says: "This is going to be a very unusual storm, producing snow into the South and probably producing a 100-plus report severe weather event." In Saturday's blog, he says: "It has been a very active first 2 months to the year for severe thunderstorm activity in the Southeastern United States, and this trend looks to continue early in March!"
